REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Effective: 1 August 2026
This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) governs all subscriptions, educational programs, live classes, recorded content, learning application access, assessments, and related services offered by YaClass Tech Private Limited, under the brand name Pumpa (“Pumpa”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By enrolling in any course, subscription plan, demo class, or educational service offered by Pumpa, the parent, guardian, and/or student (“User”) expressly agrees to be bound by this Policy.
1) Subscription Plans.
Pumpa may offer educational services under various subscription plans, including but not limited to:
- One (1) Month Subscription;
- Two (2) Month Subscription;
- Three (3) Month Subscription;
- Six (6) Month Subscription;
- Twelve (12) Month Subscription.
The applicable fees, features, duration, and benefits shall be communicated at the time of enrollment.
2) Free Demo Session
Pumpa offers a complimentary demo session to provide parents and students with an opportunity to understand and evaluate Pumpa's teaching methodology, learning approach, mentor interaction, class structure, and overall learning experience before making an enrollment decision. The demo session is intended to enable parents and students to make an informed assessment of the services offered by Pumpa and determine whether the program is suitable for their educational requirements and expectations. As the demo session is provided free of charge for evaluation purposes, no refund or compensation shall be applicable in relation thereto.
3) Consent to Sales Calls and Messages (Important)
Any request for cancellation must be submitted in writing to info@pumpa.in. A cancellation request shall be deemed valid only upon acknowledgement by Pumpa. Requests made through telephone calls, WhatsApp messages, social media platforms, or directly to mentors shall not constitute a valid cancellation request.
4) Refund Eligibility.
4.1 Initial Subscription Plans.
Refund requests shall only be considered if submitted within the following period from the date of activation of the subscription:

Any refund request received after the applicable period shall not be eligible for refund.
4.2 Refund Calculation.
Where a refund request is approved within the applicable refund window, Pumpa shall be entitled to deduct:
- the value of all live classes attended, conducted, scheduled, reserved, or made available to the student;
- the value attributable to access provided to recorded sessions, educational content, assessments, reports, question banks, and the Pumpa learning application;
- any class pauses, deferments, rescheduling requests, temporary discontinuation, or other interruptions requested by the student or parent;
- onboarding, academic coordination, mentor allocation, administrative, technology platform, bank charges, forex conversion charges, or cross border transaction, payment gateway charges, and processing costs incurred by Pumpa;
- any applicable taxes, duties, or levies with Govt. authorities.
Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this Policy, where a User has enrolled in a Six (6) Month Subscription or Twelve (12) Month Subscription (“Long-Term Subscription Plans”) at a discounted, promotional, preferential, renewal, retention, scholarship, referral or any other reduced price, and submits a refund request within the applicable refund window, Pumpa shall, in addition to the deductions specified herein, be entitled to refund as per 5.2.
5) Special Terms for Discounted (Long-Term and Retention Subscription Plans).
5.1 Discounted Subscription Plan
Pumpa may, at its sole discretion, offer Six (6) Month Subscription Plans, Twelve (12) Month Subscription Plans, renewal plans, upgrade plans, retention plans, or any other long-term subscription plans at discounted, preferential or promotional prices ("Discounted Subscription Plans").
The User expressly acknowledges and agrees that:
- Plans are offered at highly discounted and preferential rates compared to standard subscription pricing;
- Such discounts are granted in consideration of the User’s commitment to remain enrolled for the entire subscription term;
- Pumpa commits substantial resources upfront, including mentor allocation, batch planning, curriculum mapping, technology infrastructure, learning app access, assessments, academic coordination, and administrative support;
- The discounted pricing structure is commercially viable only when the subscription continues for its intended duration.
5.2 Refunds for Discounted Subscription Plans.
- Refund requests shall only be entertained if submitted within Ten (10) calendar days from the date of activation of the Retention Plan;
- Pumpa shall be entitled to:
- Recalculate fees based on the standard monthly rates prevailing at the time of enrollment;
- Recover the value of all classes attended, scheduled, or made available;
- Recover onboarding, academic coordination, mentor allocation, administrative, technology platform, bank charges, forex conversion charges, or cross border transaction, payment gateway charges, and processing costs incurred by Pumpa;
- Recover any discounts, concessions, referral benefits, scholarships, promotional offers, or special pricing benefits granted to the User;
- After expiry of the aforesaid Ten (10) calendar days, the discounted subscription plan shall become strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable.
6) Non-Refundable Items.
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies solely to the educational services, live classes, recorded sessions, learning application access, assessments, and related services provided by Pumpa. Except as expressly provided herein, the following shall be strictly non-refundable:
- any live classes that have been attended, conducted, completed, scheduled, reserved, allotted, missed, lapsed, or otherwise made available to the student, including instances where the student fails to attend the class for any reason whatsoever;
- access provided to the Pumpa Learning Application, including self-assessment modules, performance reports, question banks, tests, assessments, analytics, and other platform features, irrespective of whether such access has been utilized by the student;
- access to recorded classes, study materials, worksheets, assignments, educational content, practice exercises, downloadable resources, and any other digital learning materials made available to the student;
- academic coordinator services, parent support services, student progress monitoring, performance reviews, mentor allocation, batch allocation, curriculum planning, onboarding, and academic support services provided by Pumpa;
- any classes, sessions, subscription extensions, learning resources, discounts, concessions, rewards, promotional benefits, referral benefits, scholarship benefits, sibling enrollment benefits, trial benefits, goodwill benefits, service recovery benefits, complimentary services, or additional classes provided by Pumpa without additional charge or at a discounted price;
- any discounted pricing, preferential pricing, retention-plan benefits, renewal discounts, promotional offers, coupon benefits, cashback benefits, or special commercial arrangements offered in connection with a six (6) month, twelve (12) month, or any other long-term subscription plan;
- payment gateway charges, merchant fees, transaction processing fees, convenience fees, platform charges, or similar charges incurred in connection with the processing of payments or refunds, which may be deducted from the refundable amount on a proportionate basis;
- bank charges, foreign exchange conversion charges, remittance charges, cross-border transaction fees, intermediary bank fees, or similar charges incurred in connection with receipt or refund of payments;
- any applicable taxes, duties, or levies with Govt. authorities corresponding to classes already attended, completed, missed, or lapsed or for taxes paid or payable in respect of payment or refund of such fees.
- any class pauses, deferments, postponements, rescheduling requests, temporary discontinuation requests, vacations, travel periods, examination periods, extracurricular commitments, medical absences, or any other interruptions attributable to the student or parent;
- any inability to attend classes arising from internet connectivity issues, device incompatibility, hardware failures, software issues, power outages, or any other technical limitations occurring at the User's end; and
- any fees, charges, or amounts in respect of which the applicable refund period prescribed under this Policy has expired.
For the avoidance of doubt, the non-utilization of any classes, learning resources, application access, recorded sessions, assessments, or other services made available under the subscription plan shall not, by itself, entitle the User to any refund, credit, adjustment, or reimbursement.
7) Changes to Class Schedules.
Pumpa reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion and as may be reasonably required for academic, pedagogical, operational, technological, administrative, or business purposes, to:
- revise, modify, reschedule, postpone, or reorganize class schedules;
- change, revise, or adjust batch timings, session frequency, or class duration;
- appoint, replace, substitute, reassign, or rotate mentors, teachers, academic coordinators, or other educational personnel;
- merge, split, restructure, consolidate, discontinue, or reconstitute batches or learning groups;
- modify, revise, update, or realign academic calendars, course plans, curricula, assessment schedules, learning pathways, or educational content; and
- introduce, modify, discontinue, or enhance teaching methodologies, instructional techniques, learning tools, technology platforms, educational programs, or student engagement mechanisms.
The User acknowledges and agrees that any such modification, adjustment, replacement, restructuring, or operational change shall be deemed a normal incident of the educational services provided by Pumpa and shall not constitute a deficiency of service, breach of contract, or failure of consideration.
Accordingly, no such modification or change shall entitle the User to cancel the subscription, withhold payment, seek a refund, claim compensation, demand damages, or pursue any other monetary or non-monetary remedy against Pumpa.
8) App Access and Digital Content.
Upon activation of a subscription, the User may receive access to:
- Pumpa Learning Application;
- Recorded classes;
- Assessments and tests;
- Question banks;
- Academic reports;
- Educational content and learning resources.
The User acknowledges that digital services and educational content become available immediately upon activation, and a substantial portion of the subscription fee is attributable to such access.
Accordingly, refunds shall always be subject to reasonable deductions for digital content and platform access.
9) Refund Mode and Processing.
- Refunds shall be processed to the original payment method, where technically feasible and permitted under applicable banking, payment gateway, or regulatory requirements.
- Where a refund to the original payment method is not feasible, Pumpa may, at its discretion process the refund only through bank transfer in the name of the payment made in a scheduled bank.
- Refunds are typically processed within 15 (fifteen) business days from the date of refund confirmation, subject to the timelines and policies of banks, payment gateways, and financial institutions.
10) Force Majeure and Program Discontinuation.
Pumpa reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or terminate classes or programs due to events beyond its reasonable control, including force majeure events. In the event of a force majeure event that renders the continued provision of classes permanently or otherwise impossible, YaClass may, at its discretion either:

Reschedule or resume the affected classes when feasible; or

Provide an appropriate extension of time for class completion; or
- Process pro-rata refund for un-availed portion of the program.
11) Policy Modification.
Pumpa reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Policy from time to time and the same shall become effective within five (5) business days after publication on the Pumpa website. Pumpa may, at its discretion and where practicable, notify enrolled customers of such changes through available customer communication channels. Unless expressly stated otherwise, any revised Policy shall apply to all refund requests submitted on or after its effective date, irrespective of the date of purchase, enrolment or payment.
