TBQ - Basics of types of reactions
Question:
3
m.
Go through the following question and provide the answer:
What is meant by synthesis reaction. Give two examples
A reaction in which
photosensitive substance decomposes on heating to form silver and oxygen gas
photosensitive substance, it break down into silver and bromine gas
photosensitive substance forms silver and hydrogen gas in the presence of light
photosensitive substance combines with oxygen to produce silver oxide and chlorine gas
is known as synthesis reaction.
Example:
\(CaO + CO_2 → CaCO_3\)
\(2AgCl → 2Ag + Cl_2\)
\(HCl + NaOH → NaCl + H_2O\)
\(CaCO_3 → CaO + CO_2\)
and
\(2AgBr → 2Ag + Br_2\)
\(Zn + CuSO_4 → ZnSO_4 + Cu\)
\(N_2 + 3H_2 → 2NH_3\)
\(KBr → 2K + Br_2\)
