TBQ - Construct the triangle using ASA criterion
Question:
4
m.
Construct triangles for the following measurements:
\(120°, 6 \ cm, 30°\)
Construction:
Step - 1:
Draw a base line segment BC = 6 cm.
Draw an altitute AB = 6 cm.
Draw a base line segment AB = 6 cm.
Step - 2:
Place the protractor at A and construct ∠A = 120° by drawing the other arm of the angle.
Place the protractor at A and construct ∠A = 30° by drawing the other arm of the angle.
Place the protractor at B and construct ∠ B = 120° by drawing the other arm of the angle.
Step - 3:
Place the protractor at B and construct ∠B = 30° by drawing the other arm of the angle.
Place the protractor at B and construct ∠ B = 120° by drawing the other arm of the angle.
Place the protractor at C and construct ∠C = 30° by drawing the other arm of the angle.
Step - 4:
Mark the intersecting point of the two arms as the vertex B.
Mark the intersecting point of the two arms as the vertex A.
Mark the intersecting point of the two arms as the vertex C.
Thus, \(ABC\)
is the required triangle
