Order of Multiplication:
Example:
Example 1:
We know that,

\(\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{1}{4}  = \frac{1}{8}\)

Similarly,

\(\frac{1}{4} \times \frac{1}{2} = \frac{1}{8}\)

Example 2:

In general,

Consider a rectangle.

Area of rectangle remains the same even if the length and breadth are interchanged.

From the above two examples we conclude that,

The order of multiplication does not matter
\(\frac{a}{b} \times \frac{c}{d} = \frac{a \times c}{b \times d}\)
