Two friends, Sujil and Ragav decided to save money in their penny bank. The ratio of the amount they initially saved was 10$:$6. After a few months, both decided to increase their savings by $₹$6, in order to save more. This change altered the ratio of their total saving to 12$:$8.

Based on this information, answer the following questions.

1. Write an equation showing the relationship between their new investments after the increase.
