Why is the colour of the sky blue instead of violet, despite violet light being scattered more strongly?

When sunlight enters Earth's atmosphere, the most wavelengths largest wavelengths shorter wavelengths longest wavelengths of violet and indigo colourgreen colourviolet and blue colouryellow and orange colour light are scattered lowestminimummaximumleast in all directions by air molecules much more efficiently than the least wavelengthssmaller wavelengthsshortest wavelengthlonger wavelengths. The amount of violet orangeredblue light is smaller and absorbed by the upper atmosphere. And ,  violet colourblue colourindigo colourred colour is more sensitive and reaches our eye. This is the reason the sky appears blue.
